Maurice Ross

Maurice was inspired to become a photographer with the help of his uncle at the age of 14. He began learning photography by creating black and white images developed in the darkroom. He learned the art of composition through the mentor-ship of two of his favorite photographers while working in Kuwait. It was there that he began to develop his eye for photography by learning what to look for, the timing and patience of the shot, and the fortitude to do what is necessary to capture the moment. He began work as a sports photographer with local baseball, football and basketball teams. As his knowledge grew in the art of sports photography, he also began experimenting with nature. Eventually he developed his own website and began selling his creative work. He has now has become a valuable assistant and second shooter with Brenda B Photography where he can further develop his photography skills.
