It’s hard to believe I’ve been capturing moments for over 20 years. It all started with a high school photography class I absolutely loved. That passion led me to the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, where I kept the adventure going. After graduating in 2008, I worked with all kinds of photography companies, shooting everything from newborn babies in hospitals to the Florida Panthers puck drop.
These days, I photograph because I love making people smile. Real smiles. The kind that show up when you’re comfortable and just being yourself. That’s what lights me up.
I’ve had the thrill of seeing my work in magazines, on billboards, even open house signs. But honestly, that’s not why I do it. What keeps me going is knowing that a photo can freeze time. It captures a split second that may never happen again. That’s pretty powerful if you think about it. How else would we know what life looked like in the early 1900s without photography?
